MUSIC | Okay Temiz Oriental Wild

Okay Temiz, percussion master and jazz musician, will take the stage with his Turkish, Sufi, African, and Indian based oriental-jazz band Oriental Wind. The place is Nardiss Jazz Club, and date is Jan 6.

MUSIC | Carmina Burana

German composer Carf Orff’s famous work is at Zorlu Center, Istanbul with the rendition of Istanbul Devlet Opera Balesi. The magical night is on Jan 6, 20.00.

ART | Ahmet Ertegun Photography Exhibition

Creator of the cult like Ray Charles, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, the father of rock music, Atlantic Records founder Ahmet Ertegun’s photography exhibition can be visited until Jan 15 at Cult Istanbul.

ART | 990 Faces

The exhibition organized in cooperation with the Goethe-Institut and Istanbul Photography Museum consists of Hans-Jürgen Raabe’s works continuing in different countries since 2010.

If the answer is yes, this exhibition is completely for you. The photo exhibition “Deep Sea Illuminators, 1952-2012” reveals the last 60 years of the underwater life in Turkey with memorable photographs. Curated by Saygun Dara, the exhibition opened at Rezan Has Museum, Istanbul on November 8, promising a pleasant journey to the underwater world.

Well, how about some latin beats? Famous Latin singer Jennifer Lopez will take the stage in Istanbul on November 14, 16 and 17! Don’t miss the opportunity to dance along with J.Lo!

Art in Movement by EUNIC Turkey

Art in Movement is a 13-day film festival organized by EUNIC Turkey in 6 major cities in the South-East of Turkey: Adana, Diyarbakir, Gaziantep, Hatay, Mardin and Urfa. 17 European films will be showed in 13 days in each city. The main aim of the festival is promoting the European culture and the European cinema in particular, showing its richness and variety in Turkey. The festival is between the date of 6-18 October, 2012.
