The Turkish Garden Of Paradise has been awarded with a gold medal and the Best World Garden at the RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show in London!
The design is made by Nilufer Danis from Lotus Design Studio and sponsored by Turkish Ministry of Culture & Tourism.

David Wheeler has mentioned garden specialist Gursan Ergil and famous gardens in Princes’ Islands on The Telegraph in this month’s issue. He is the editor of Hortus and also is researching a book about the gardens of Istanbul.

Gursan Ergil spent six years living in the United States and studying landscape design, history, and preservation at Harvard University’s Arnold Arboretum, where he later lectured on Islamic Gardens for two years. Ergil currently works as landscape curator at Prince’s Island Museum in Istanbul and he is the author of the book ‘Gardens of Princes Islands’.

Unison Turkey and Gursan Ergil has hosted a group of Botanic Experts from Saskatchewan University of Canada for a comprehensive Horticulture Tour of Turkey. The group has visited vinyards, collected roses, chased orchides and mushrooms, been to many national parks, seen monumental trees, met experts and professors of horticulture and visited historical heritages of Turkey. Gursan Ergil has leaded the tour along with Sara Williams from Saskatchewan University.
